Nearly Completely Gone!

Romans 12:15
"Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn."

The tumors are "Nearly Completely Gone"! Well, how do you like that? That is the answer we got when we called the doctors office yesterday to find out what the scans revealed. The tumors are "nearly completely gone." I had to laugh because it sounds so funny. Nearly completely! It sounds like an oxymoron. After all the medical terminology and big words we have heard throughout this process, we are told they are 'nearly completely' gone. I asked the secretary who was relaying this message what that meant as far as percentages or location of the tumors. Are they all completely gone except a little bit in one spot, or are they all there but just nearly gone? She did not know as she was just relaying the message from the doctor. For me, it made no difference. Either way, this is good news, because it confirms that the chemotherapy is working and the tumors are shrinking; nearly...or....completely. You just have to smile at that! It was just so fitting after such a long day on Monday and God asking me to "trust Him" over and over. It really did not matter what they called and said, I had already decided it was completely in His hands. And it is! Not nearly, but completely!

CJ has a hospital admission this Friday for an overnight stay. He begins the second phase of chemo which introduces a new set of medicines which means a new set of side effects. One of the medicines is very strong and requires IV fluids to be administered for 24 hours and monitoring so that is why he will be staying overnight. This will take place twice in this phase. Our prayer needs for this phase of the chemo are that he will handle these new medications as well as he has handled the first ones. Pray for continued sustainment of his CBC's (complete blood counts)and protection against infection.

We look forward to seeing the doctors on Friday or Saturday while we are there and going over the scans together. At that time we will be able to relay a more accurate result but for now we are rejoicing in God's blessing and invite you to rejoice with us. As we have suffered, you have suffered; as we have prayed, you have prayed; as we have mourned, you have mourned; and now as we rejoice, you rejoice!

CJ, Dawn and Chris,

During my quiet time yesterday I came across a scripture that made me think of you. I pray it strengthen your faith. Its from Psalm 112 "Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house and his righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for the gracious and compassionate and righteous man. God will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. Surely he will never be shaken; He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is secure; he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes." So much of this characterizes your lives: generous, fearing the Lord, compassionate, etc. I know the Lord sees all and will honor his promises to you in this season. That even in darkness, light will dawn. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. We love you all and pray for you every day.

My heart rejoices in the LORD, in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my
enemies, for I delight in your deliverance! 1 Samuel 2:1-3.
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, "The LORD reigns!" 1 Chronicles 16:31. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High! Psalm 9:2. And you know what else? This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24. I am completely - completely grateful to the LORD for blessing CJ and our family with such wonderful news. I Love You All With All My Heart.

Excellent news! Keep on attacking the enemy CJ!

When I was praying for you this morning I was thinking about you reading and studying your bible and imagining that the words were flowing into you and mixing with your blood, just like the medicine when they have you on an IV, and was using the x-ray vision I have in my imagination to watch the words attack and kill fear and doubt, just like the medicine is killing the cancer.

Keep on studying you bible and seeking after your God!

Today is a day to be full of thanksgiving for answered prayer. I am completely overjoyed. Well nearly completely anyway. I can't believe how CJ's story is making it around the country and how God is being glorified in his story at all turns, good and bad. People's hearts are opening up and it is like CJ has his own little revival started.

PRAISE GOD! FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW....This is such wonderful news!!! I am so happy for all of you. I love the picture of you CJ in the hammock with your big smile. I think it's great that Dad and Brett now have the same buzz cut as you.
I continue to pray for you all and am giving God the Glory and Praise for this good news.
I want to share a doxology(expression of Praise to God) that I love that is actually the last verse of the hymn "Awake, my soul, and with the sun". It was written in 1674 by Thomas Ken.

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

I Love you guys,

We rejoice as we hear these great news. God is so faithful! We'll continue praying for more miracles; the spectacular ones and the ones that come through medicines and doctors that God uses to accomplish His purposes. The God that provided for the Israelites for 40 years in the desert and did not allow their sandals to wear out or their legs to grow tired, will sustain you all the way.
God bless,

Dawn, glory to God. I'm with you, my dear friend, regardless of whether it's "nearly" or "completely" gone, God is in control and He IS healing CJ. The Spirit is interceding for CJ with all our prayers. We will rejoice and be glad!!!
The day will come when the doctors will say: It is completely gone!
and we will say:
Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he healed CJ. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad.

Thank you, Abba Father. We trust in You as you continue to heal CJ's little body and protect his healthy organs. Lord, use every one of our prayers to destroy a piece of that cancer until it is all completely gone. Father, sin is a "spiritual" cancer. You love us so much that you hate to see how it destroys our lives, so you provided a way for us to be healed from that spiritual cancer. And we are so grateful. We are also grateful for the healing you are doing in CJ's body by destroying this cancer, and we await the day when we will hear the words that he is completely healed. We will tell the world, The Lord reigns and He has healed CJ. This is only the beginning of a beautiful story of a life that lives for you, to bring glory to your name. Praise you, God!

Cj, I'm am so excited for you! I realized that I had almost taken for grant-it that the Lord would heal you- I just "knew" HE would. But No! He could have chosen to keep the tumors alive for some reason. Instead He has chosen to make them almoooost gone- HOW KIND IS OUR GOD?! Us Pinos over here can't stop talking about you, your faith, trust, strength, and courage in the Lord, nor can we stop talking about the Lord's great mercy and grace in your life and ours!

Cj, Every time i get to see you in real life- I sometimes loose all the words i want to say to you, and then I end up just say nothing, and im sorry for that...please don't think it's because I don't want to say anything. I often stumble over my words and can't get what im thinking into what im saying. But instead, please know, you have encouraged me personally, so much, in my walk with the Lord. And thank you Mrs. George for writing this blog for everyone to see, because seeing Cj's and all of you live out your lives wanting to honor God, has affected me intensely in so many ways!

I read this scripture this morning and thought I would share it with you guys because it reminded me of you all.
"Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob." - Psalm 24:3-6

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives
generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to

James 1:5, New International Version

Lord, as CJ enters his second phase of chemo I ask for wisdom. Lord that the doctors and nurses who come into contact with CJ, will do nothing without asking for your wisdom first. That your will be done and only your will.
CJ we are praying for you and your family. May you feel the Lords presence even more in this second phase of chemo. Please be assured that we will be with you every step of the way. Both spiritually and physically.
Blessings and lots of hugs and kisses,

Praise the Lord C.J.!!! God is SO good. We are soooooo happy for you! We are praying for you constantly and know that God has been and will continue to hear our prayers. We already have proof of Him hearing our prayers!!!!! You are such a great testimony to people dealing with cancer and difficult times that need to know there is a God who hears them and can heal them and that is with them always and forever....
We Love YOU and miss YOU!!!

Psalm 30:5b
"Weeping may remain for a night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning."

Psalm 100:1
"Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth."

Psalm 150:6a
"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD."

And this is my favorite verse. I memorized these verses over and over and they are soooo encouraging:

James 1:2-4
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete,not lacking anything."
Keep trusting in God!
