This is a short video reflection of Light the Night walk. It was played during our church service this past Sunday. Unfortunately, we could not be there because of CJ's blood counts but they sent it to us and we wanted to share it with all of you!
Thank you Palm Vista for supporting us and standing by us. You are "faithfully administering Gods grace in all its that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ." Your steadfast love, fervent prayers and unending support are strengthening us day by day.
Pastor Corey, a special thank you! You have taught us how to give freely. You have taught us that giving is a privilege not an obligation! You have taught us how to be kingdom builders and not barn builders. You have taught us to, "Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be poured into your lap." We are sitting here with our 'laps overflowing' with love and support as evidence of the fruit of your faithful teachings to this small sliver of the body of Christ.

Powerful, beautiful. I just had to sit for 10 minutes after watching it to move. Thank you Palm Vista and to the Bahar family. I am so grateful that my daughter Dawn and her family found all of you. Your support, love and friendship and has been unwavering. As you bring so much security to them at this time I know that God is blessing all of you for your extra efforts. Thank you.

It's our pleasure!

We love you guys so much. No matter how many times I see this video it always moves me so much!

Every Sunday we have more and more people with shaved heads. It's great to see all the support and love being shown! I was thinking any visitors must think we're just a church that really likes shaved heads or that we LITERALLY believe that men's heads should NOT be covered :0) hah

We love you guys and even as there are more and more shaved heads every week it reminds us all of CJ and your family as we continue praying.

I loved seeing this video, especially because I was not able to attend due to a party I had planned for my husband that same night. We are continuing to pray for your beautiful family!

I pray that in the future I will be able to personally serve your family in some tangible way. Until then, prayer remains my weapon of choice, as we battle alongside you!

much love,

The video is beautiful, powerful, and moving! I was witness to God "nudging" your entire family to not settle on a church for many years. I can remember on many occassions you openly discussing your confussion with what the Lord was doing. Thank God for His gentle and stern, at times guidance, for you not to settle. And thank God for your obedience to His nudge and your Husband in not settling just anywhere. Not that some of the churches you visited over the years weren't Godly or blessed. It's just that God had a plan for YOU and He knew what was to come. It is clear that He wanted you at Palm Vista for many reasons. It is amazing what God can do in our lives if we allow Him and are willing to walk in "blind" faith and obedience sometimes. I love watching His miracles and blessings unfold. I am going to visit Palm Vista this weekend to check out those shaved heads and thank your church family for listening to the Lord and obeying Him when He has laid actions on their hearts to be carried out.

We continue praying for you, CJ. We pray that the Lord will keep using "coincidences" to remind you of how close He is to you and your parents every hour of the day, communicating with you directly. We think about you during this time of the year remembering the pumpking carving, the X-mas shoeboxes, and all the hospitality that you offered. Your hospitality is still there, it just looks a little different. We are welcomed into your life through this blog and prayer.

May God show His wonders through the healing of your body and may He show His love by drawing you closer to Him, giving you peace on His presence. Don't forget what the Israelites forgot after seeing so much: God is a God of miracles. Let us not limit His power by our unbelief.
We love you,

Hey George Family,

I was almost crying during the video. It made it even more able to cry thru for me because I wasn't there. CJ has grown so much. And I know CJ will have a much better faith with God, even though he has a better faith then some of us (including me!). I miss you guys so much. Hope to see you soon.

Hey CJ,

It's Erick from your dental office. I remember the first time you came to the office and I told you that you are a "Strong Man" because not many kids like going to the dentist. You sat in the chair like it was all good. Like the poem you wrote to your Grandmother, when you sat in my chair that day; you didn't know, but I was smiling! :o) Thanks...
The strong man that you are is what keeps your family and friends praying and moving forward. Your strength touches many lives and the gift God has given you makes people smile. You are truly one of a kind. Your family is lucky to have such a "Strong Man" in the family and yet you are only 9. I'll be waiting for another drawing of yours to put up on my wall at work to keep me smiling.
My blessings and prayers are with you and your family.
If there is anything I can do besides praying, please do not hesitate to contact me.

God Bless You and The George Family.
